Editorial Policy: Independence, Method, and Corrections
This policy governs mars-darknet.com and its three sibling references — mars-market.icu, mars-market.vip, and mars-review.com. All four are maintained by the same two named analysts and follow the same rules below, even though each site covers a different angle: directory, access & status, and review.
Scope of this policy
This policy applies to mars-darknet.com, mars-market.icu, mars-market.vip, and mars-review.com. The four sites are siblings: same small editorial team, same independence and corrections rules, same verification method. What differs between them is angle, not standard — one is a directory, one covers access and live status, one is a scored review.
Independence and funding
No vendor, no market operator, and no registrar pays for placement, a favorable status label, or a positive review on any of these four sites. We hold no funds, run no escrow, and accept no referral fee tied to a market's uptime, popularity, or reputation. If that were ever to change for a specific page, it would be disclosed on that page directly, not buried in this policy.
Who writes and maintains these sites
Two named analysts currently write and maintain the network:
Neither is affiliated with Mars, its operators, or its vendors, and neither holds a position with any market covered on these sites.
How we verify before we publish
Nothing on any of the four sites is posted on a hunch. We probe an address more than once, cross-check it against a signed list where one exists, and only then publish. When a claim cannot be verified, the page labels it pending or unconfirmed instead of dressing it up as settled. This is the same method described in full on the about page.
- Probe the reference onion across separate sessions, not one hopeful request.
- Cross-check the address against a signed mirror list where one exists.
- Label the status by what the last probe actually returned.
- Say "pending" or "unconfirmed" out loud rather than rounding up.
Corrections
If an onion address, a mirror status, or a factual claim on any of these four sites is wrong or stale, tell us — use the editorial contact on whichever of the four sites you found the issue on. We fix the page, and for a correction that changes a verdict or a status materially, we say so on the page itself rather than silently editing it.
What we do not do
No paid placement
No pay-to-rank, no paid mirror listing, no paid favorable status.
No fabricated scores
No fake reviews, ratings, or testimonials on any of the four sites.
No how-to-break-the-law advice
Coverage is descriptive and educational, not legal or financial advice.
No custody of funds
No escrow, no order processing, no wallet under our control.
Editorial contact
General and editorial contact for this reference: editorial@mars-darknet.com. A signed PGP contact channel is in progress (Phase 0) — see how we verify a Mars link for the method that will anchor it once the key is published. Until then, treat any unsigned reply claiming to speak for this site with the same caution as an unverified mirror.
Who keeps this reference and how
